Acting and Drama
Students that specialise in this discipline at Key Stage 4 are able to complete a GCSE in Drama. Within Key Stage 5 students will study units of work that contribute to a BTEC Level 3 qualification in Performing Arts. These courses include a wide range of training and opportunities including devising plays, improvising drama, performing scripted plays, developing monologues, audition technique, studying the work of professional practitioners and analysing and evaluating live theatre.
As part of their Performing Arts studies, students will have the opportunity to perform in several productions each year, both at LeAF Studio and at professional venues locally and further afield.
